Comedy & Variety
Stand Up, Improv and Sketch Comedy and more – RoleCall gives a home for Atlanta comics and performers to showcase on stage.
RoleCall Theater is determined to be a platform for any hardworking, dedicated storyteller. We work closely with directors and producers to make sure we can aid them in getting their performance off the ground and their voice heard. We put a creator’s drive and commitment over their pedigree of education or financial resources in order to make sure that Atlanta is hearing a diverse range of stories form a diverse range of storytellers.
RoleCall Theater was founded by Stephen Beehler in February of 2020 – three weeks before a global pandemic shut the theater and the world down. But the theater, much like the independent artists that create there, had to get innovative in order to survive and survive they did. RoleCall Theater is designed to be a bespoke space allowing for multiple disciplines of narrative & performing arts to adapt the theater to their art form. A flex black-box theater in the truest sense, RoleCall allows for performances in thrust, proscenium, in-the -round, or pretty much any configuration the director can image.
